Acceptable Use

What may and may not be published as a quiz on EduQuizzy.

What this covers

These rules apply to everything you put into EduQuizzy: quiz questions, explanations, images you upload, room names, your display name, and anything published to the Open Quizzes page. Publishing a quiz publicly makes you responsible for it in the same way as posting it anywhere else.

Do not publish

  • Material you do not have the right to use. An exam board's paper, a textbook's question bank or a photograph you found in a search result are all somebody's copyright.
  • Anything that identifies a student — a real name in a question, a class photograph, a marksheet.
  • Content that harasses, demeans or incites hatred against anyone, including as a "joke answer".
  • Sexual content, graphic violence, or material unsuitable for the age group that can reach it. Anything on the Open Quizzes page is public and reachable by children.
  • Medical, legal or financial instructions presented as advice for a specific person. A quiz may teach a subject; it may not tell a named individual what to do.
  • Deliberate misinformation presented as fact.
  • Malware, phishing links, or anything designed to extract credentials.

Do not misuse the platform

  • No automated scraping, bulk account creation, or load testing without asking first.
  • No attempts to reach another teacher's quizzes, rooms or reports, or to interfere with a live session you were not invited to.
  • No reselling access, and no sharing one account between people who should each have their own.
  • No probing for vulnerabilities without contacting us first — see the security page for how to report one properly.

If a quiz breaks these rules

We may unpublish it from the Open Quizzes page, and in serious or repeated cases suspend the account. Where we can, we tell you what was wrong and give you the chance to fix it — an account is somebody's teaching materials, and removing it is not a first response. We act without warning only where content is illegal, or where leaving it up would put someone at risk.

Reporting something

If you find a public quiz that breaks these rules, tell us at abuse@eduquizzy.com with the link. Reports about a child's safety are looked at the same day.
